3. How long does a standard window installation take?

Typically, a standard uPVC casement window installation takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. A full-day installation project can easily accommodate 4 to 6 windows. Larger sash windows or bay window installations require more time, usually taking 4 to 8 hours per opening depending on structural complexity.

4. Do I need to prepare my home before the installers arrive?

Yes. To protect your belongings and ensure a safe, efficient installation, we kindly request that you clear the space around the windows. Remove curtains, blinds, and nearby furniture. We also recommend keeping pets and small children away from the work areas while our fitting team is operating.

5. What is double glazing and how does it improve energy efficiency?

Double-glazed windows combine two panes of glass separated by a vacuum or gas-filled space (typically Argon). This space acts as an insulating barrier, dramatically reducing the transfer of heat.
