At Window Fitters Ltd, we stand behind the quality of our materials and the craft of our installation teams. Every installation performed by our direct workforce across Greater London and Surrey is backed by our official written guarantee policy starting from the completion date.
Official Guarantee Coverage Tiers
- Window and Door Frames (10 Years): Window and door frames are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials for a period of 10 years starting from the installation completion date.
- Sealed Glazed Units (5 Years): Sealed units are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials for a period of 5 years starting from the installation completion date.
- Fascias, Soffits, Bargeboards, Guttering, Locks, Handles & Moving Parts (1 Year): Fascias, soffits, bargeboards, guttering, locks, handles and other moving parts are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or materials for a period of 1 year starting from the installation completion date.
- Conservatory Bases (5 Years): Conservatory bases are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or materials for a period of 5 years starting from the installation completion date.
Guarantee Policy Exclusions
The following statutory exclusions apply to the Window Fitters Ltd guarantee policy:
- This guarantee does not cover any accidental damage (including glass breakage), blockages, wear and tear, misuse of the product, and any faults associated to condensation.
- This guarantee does not cover any problems associated with fading or discolouration.
- This guarantee does not cover any problems associated with the penetration of insects, misting and mould growth.
- This guarantee does not cover any problem in the event the consumer fails to adequately maintain the product or misuses the product.
Building Regulations Compliance & Insurance-Backed Cover
To ensure your complete peace of mind, all our residential window replacements and external door installations are carried out to meet or exceed UK Building Regulations. We coordinate directly with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) to arrange inspections and ensure that your installations are legally verified and certified. We also provide an Insurance-Backed Guarantee (IBG) to protect your deposit and warranty cover.
Visual Proof: Official Guarantee Certificate issued to clients detailing 10-Year Frame, 5-Year Sealed Unit, 1-Year Hardware, and 5-Year Conservatory Base coverage.
